Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey hosts special events throughout the year to support the organization's mission. These events offer the opportunity to raise unrestricted dollars that support our programs and services, and help us share information about preventing child abuse and ensuring that New Jersey's children are happy, healthy and safe.

• Save The Date! April 19th, 2012
  Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey's annual gala will take place on April 19th, 2012 at the Newark Museum. Mark your calendar for a lovely evening of entertainment, silent auction, food, and more!
  
  
• It's your turn to make a difference for the kids in your neighborhood! April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a statewide campaign to raise awareness about supporting families and preventing child abuse.
  
  Each April, New Jersey makes a promise to prevention by distributing pinwheels and hosting educational events throughout the state. Pinwheels are a symbol of a happy, carefree childhood. Doesn't every child deserve one?
  

• On Sunday, December 11th, Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey was once again the beneficiary for Jody Joseph's 9th Annual Christmas Concert at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park. The event featured live music from The Jody Joseph Band, her talented students, refreshments, an auction, prizes, and more! A gallery of photos from the event can be found on our Facebook page.

• Bernie and Sally Miller lost their granddaughter, Jessica, when her stepfather beat her to death. Like any family, The Millers were devastated by this experience. Through the love and support of each other, they were also determined that their loss would not break them. Join The Miller Family and Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey each April at the Bellmawr Park Fire Hall for a memorial dinner in honor of Jessica Lauren Miller. Ticket prices and availability are posted each year before the dinner event. Next year's event will take place on Saturday, April 14th.

• Bikers across New Jersey participate each year in the Katelynn Stinnett Memorial Run, a motorcycle run to benefit Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey and Bikers Against Child Abuse-New Jersey. Visit their official website for registration and more information.

• Each year, Kohl's Associates volunteer their time to enrich children's lives by partnering with Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey to host events for families and children. Through Kohl's Kids Days A-teams across the state are creating big dividends for children! Each time an A-team hosts an event, Kohl's makes a $500 donation to help prevent child abuse.
