Kohl's For Kids - Our Partnership with Kohl's A-Teams!

When something needs to be done, you send in your best team. We have learned over and over that the best team to send is often times a Kohl's A-Team.

Each year, Kohl's Associates volunteer their time to enrich children's lives by partnering with Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey to host events for families and children. Through Kohl's Kids Days A-teams across the state are creating big dividends for children! Each time an A-team hosts an event, Kohl's makes a $500 donation to help prevent child abuse. A-Teams have raised more than $5,000 and brought together 2,500 children and families through Kohl's Kids Days events through the state.

2010

On Saturday, June 6th, Kohl's Newton store coordinated a their “Kids Day” in conjunction with six other area stores.

A-teams from Newton, Wayne, Hackettstown, Ledgewood, West Paterson, & Wayne stores raised $3,000 for child abuse prevention programs while hosting fun activities for local children and families. Read more about the 2010 event on our blog!

2009

On Friday, July 18th, Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey coordinated "Kids Day" in conjunction with Kohl's stores across New Jersey. We had free fun with face painting, kid IDs, car seat inspections, and more!

The event was a gathering of more than 500 people and various community organizations. We coordinated the event with the help of Kohl's Associates, and more than ten stores participated to generate $5,000 in funds for child abuse prevention programs, $3,750 of which goes directly to Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey.
