JOB SUMMARY:

The Community Education Support Associate will assist in providing presentations, training, technical assistance and development for PCA-NJ’s statewide child abuse prevention education and Positive & Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) programs. These programs include: Connections Matter New Jersey, Period of PURPLE Crying, Mandated Reporter/Supporter work, and PCA-NJ’s menu of child abuse prevention training services. Anticipated outcomes include positively changing parent and caretaker attitudes and behaviors resulting in a reduction in child abuse and neglect and an improved understanding by persons involved in the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

This is a hybrid position that allows remote work with supervisory approval. Occasional presence at the office and in the field will be required. Anticipated office presence is as needed and travel throughout NJ is about 2-4 times per month. Occasional evening and weekend activities may be needed.
