The following trainings are available by request:

Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking 101Overview and Prevention:  This training provides an overview of human trafficking in New Jersey, with a particular emphasis on the commercial sexual exploitation of children. It includes information about the scope of commercial sexual exploitation in New Jersey, risk factors for exploitation, indicators for identifying victims, state and national resources, and prevention strategies.

In-person and virtual facilitation is available, as well as full and partial-day options.

From Survivor to Thriver: Working with Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation: This training teaches helping professionals to support victims of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) through their recovery process. The training reviews trauma and trauma informed principles and provides skill-building techniques of Motivational Interviewing.  It reviews the impact of trauma, responding to victims, the stages of change, additional resources, and vicarious trauma of family members and professionals.

Full and partial-day options are available.

My Life My Choice Exploitation Prevention Curriculum Facilitator Training: This two-day training provides you with everything you need to facilitate this 10-session psychoeducational group for girls between ages 12-18 that are at disproportionate risk of commercial sexual exploitation. The My Life My Choice Exploitation Prevention Curriculum is Evidence-Informed and proven effective in reducing the risk of commercial sexual exploitation. It was also the first comprehensive, survivor-led curriculum in the country. This nationally-acclaimed curriculum aims to change girls’ attitudes and perceptions of the commercial sex industry, as well as build self-esteem and personal empowerment.
